These two brother's have had another great year in the competitions.
Ljóni frá Ketilsstöðum and his rider Maja Nymann Blitskov are the Danish champions in 5 gate combination with 3rd place in 5 gate and 5th place in pace test of young riders. This pair also won the A flokk at the Gæðingakeppni this spring with 8,56, well done!

Hlébarði frá Ketilsstöðum and Mara Daniella Staubli were in second place in the Swiss Championships in 5 gate F1, and in the Swiss team in the World Championship in Holland. At the World Championships, Mara and Hlébarði ended in sevent'h place in 5 gate F1, well done Mara!

Katla has now received 10 for tölt, trot, slow tölt and spirit.

The sun was shining and Katla was at the top of her game. She received 10 for trot, slow tölt and spirit. Katla is currently being bred so this is hopefully the beginning of a new chapter.

This favorite and outstanding 4 year old mare Hugmynd frá Ketilsstöðum got a great breeding evaluation at Hella yesterday.
Her total score is 8,32. She received 8,02 for confirmation and 8,52 for ridden abilities.
Dam is Djörfung frá Ketilsstöðum with a total score of 8,23, 4 years old including 8,69 for ridden abilities. Sire is Aðall frá Nýjabæ who needs I believe only two more judged off springs to reach honorary prize for off springs. For fun it's nice to tell that her grand mother and great grandmother both received honorary prize for off springs

Some pictures of Elin Holst and Frami frá Ketilsstöðum from the Icelandic Championship 2017. The results was far away from last years three victories but still very good. They ended on the second place in a very strong 4 gate and on the sixth pace in T2. Frami had a injury short time before the championships that we believe had a negative effect on the results.

Huldumær frá Syðri-Gegnishólum was breeding evaluated 4 years old at Landsmót 2016. Her total score was 8,29 and the forth place in the group of 4 years old mares. Straight after Landsmót we bred her with Frami frá Ketilsstöðum and this is the result, a beautiful filly.

I took these nice pictures within the herd the other day. Brynja and Álfhildur were having a moment of quality. Álfhildur is expecting a foal with Frami later this summer, we are very much looking forward to it.

This is Álfaklettur frá Syðri-Gegnishólum, he is a four years old son of Álfadís frá Selfossi and Stáli frá Kjarri. First time for him leaving the farm to be ridden, the trip ended on the track, since we are aiming for getting him breeding evaluated soon.

These two mares of our breed are having good results in Swiss and Germany. Both winning and in the top in T1 and V2. Both mares are breeding evaluated with1st prize and are now competing successfully, with their talented riders. This foal was born a few days ago, a good looking colt, dam is Védís frá Hellubæ and sire is Konsert frá Hofi. Védís is 4 gated and breeding evaluated five years old with a total score of 8,06, included 9,0 for tölt, slöw tölt, galop, spirit, expression and 9,5 for canter.
